Social Action Commission
The purpose of St. Mary of The Falls SOCIAL ACTION COMMISSION (SAC) is to provide a means for members of our parish to put their faioth in action.  By volunteering their time and talents to the Commission's efforts, parishioners help ensure a better quality of life for the needy in our parish and our neighborhoods.  Many of the programs in which the commission is involved, will allow participating volunteers to easily put works of mercy into action, up close and personal!  The commission is comprised of six committees each with its own core group of activities and programs.  Together, these activities represent various social issues with respect to quality of life and ultimately center on Corporal Works of Mercy - feed the hungry, visit the imprisoned, cloth the naked.

Volunteers are always needed to help with this important work.  With the wide variety of  programs available, whenther you have only one hour a year, or one hour a month, or one hour a week, there is a place for you and someone who needs YOU!   Stewardship is one of our calls as Catholic Christians.  Please consider your own gifts and talents and see if there is an area that interests you among these committees, a place where your time and talent can be put to good use.  Then call or email the contact person with your questions or availability.  It is as easy as that!

Employment Ministry
We are a faith-based group of fellow parishioners from St Mary of the Falls, St Adalberts, and St Mary-Berea offering to share knowledge, skills, experience, and contacts with anyone who is seeking employment transitional help including learning how to make connections, build relationships, and engage in formal and informal communications with others for mutual assistance in seeking employment contacts.  This is not an employment placement service and we do not offer jobs to seekers. This is information sharing only.

Meetings are held the third Thursday of each month beginning June 17th, 2010 and are held in St Mary of the Falls school hall. Registration at  6:30PM; Meeting at 7:00PM
