Deacon Rich Mueller

I moved here to the Olmsted Falls area and St. Mary of the Falls with my family in the summer of 1968 when my Dad took a new job in the area, and I’ve been here ever since.  I graduated from Olmsted Falls High School in 1974.  Barb and I were married at St. Mary’s in 1978, and we have two adult children, Kelli and Jenni.  Kelli and her husband Brad are the proud parents of our wonderful grandson Dylan.  Although Barb and I recently moved to a new home in Olmsted Heights (aka North Ridgeville); I’m still “from” Olmsted Falls.

Together, Barb and I have volunteered over the years at the parish in practically every ministry that the parish has.  I have especially been focused on ministry to high school teens, which I first started doing in the Fall of 1977 (no, that’s not a typo!!).  Since my ordination on May 24th, 1997; I have been proud to serve at St. Mary’s as the first deacon assigned to the parish.  I minister today in a wide variety of areas, including Youth Ministry, ministry to engaged couples, Baptisms, weddings, marriage counseling, serving on the Parish Finance Council, and assisting Fr. Wally with business and administration issues of the parish and school.
