•Angel Tree – Parishioners choose names of children whose parent(s) are incarcerated and buy them Christmas gifts. Cash donations help provide a holiday party for these children. •Mentor Program – This new program will allow volunteers to make phone calls to admissions offices of colleges for soon-to-be-released prisoners who are interested in advancing their education and don’t have phone access while in prison.
•Book Collection – Donations made from online bookstores from selected titles and shipped directly to inmates, provide them a source of intellectual stimulation. |
