HELP END CHILDHOOD HUNGER The recently released report, Hunger in America 2010, revealed that in the area served by the Cleveland Foodbank, 1 in 9 people access emergency food programs, and 34% of them are children.
Federal child nutrition programs play a critical role in addressing the needs of hungry children.  The full backing of Congress is needed to make an end to childhood hunger a reality.  Your help is needed to ensure that this is a priority for your representatives.
Our parish Advocacy Committee is encouraging everyone to reach out to our legislators and encourage them to pass strong child nutrition programs and ask them to sponsor the “Easy Access to Meals and Snacks Act.  Click on the link below to send an E-Postcard to your representative. https://secure3.convio.net/cfb/site/Advocacy?cmd=display&page=UserAction&id=111
