Fr. Ryan Cubera, Pastor
May 18, 2013, I was ordained a priest for the diocese of Cleveland. The Life Teen ministry is where I began to hear the Father’s call that led me into seminary and priesthood. During my time at the seminary, I spent my internship year at St. Mary of the Falls (2010-2011).
St. Raphael in Bay Village was my first assignment (2013-2017). I enjoyed learning priesthood from my first parish as I walked with the youth group, children in the day school and PSR, prepared many couples for marriage, RCIA, and more.
I am the third of nine men recently ordained from our home parish of St. Mary in Hudson. Spanning from 2013 when I was ordained, my home parish experienced seven consecutive years where we celebrated an ordination to the priesthood!
I am blessed to be back at St. Mary of the Falls and am excited to grow in new ways with this wonderful parish family. Your prayers, support, and strength are much appreciated. I love you and am glad to call the SMOF Family my home.
Deacon Rich Mueller, Deacon & Business Manager
I have been a member of our parish since 1968 when my family joined after we moved here from the Buffalo area when I was 12 years old. I graduated from Olmsted Falls High School in 1974. Barb and I were married here at St. Mary’s in 1978, and we have two children, Kelli and Jenni.
Together, Barb and I have volunteered over the years at the parish in practically every ministry that the parish has to offer. I had especially been focused on ministry to high school teens, which I first started doing in the Fall of 1977.
Since my ordination on May 24th, 1997, I have been proud to serve at St. Mary’s as the first deacon assigned to the parish. I minister today in a wide variety of areas, including ministry to engaged couples, Baptisms, weddings, marriage counseling, serving on the Parish Finance Council, and assisting Fr. Ryan with the business and administration issues of the parish and school as the Parish Business Manager.
Annemarie Rajnicek, School Principal
I had the honor and privilege of joining St. Mary of the Falls in August of 2012. I grew up in Chagrin Falls and graduated from Chagrin Falls High School before attending Bowling Green State University, where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. I married and began my first teaching position at St. Patrick School W.P. where I taught second grade for four years and spent six years as the Computer Teacher/Technology Coordinator. During this time, a new journey began as I pursued my Master’s Degree at Baldwin Wallace College and Administrative License.
In 2007, I received my Master’s Degree and Principal’s License (PK-3, 4-9) and accepted my first administrative position at St. Patrick School W.P. The following year I had the honor of being part of and leading a brand new merged school, West Park Catholic Academy where I spent an additional 5 years. In 2012, it was time for a new journey and my path led me to St. Mary of the Falls. I have been truly blessed over the last ten years, being part of this special Parish.
My husband and I live in Olmsted Township where we raised our two daughters, Kathryn and Elizabeth.
Jackie Swinerton, Director for Teen Faith Formation
My roles and responsibilities at St. Mary of the Falls Parish include leading our youth to Christ through the EDGE and Life Teen ministries.
I have been a parishioner of St. Mary of the Falls my entire life. I have a younger sister, Claire, and an older brother, Scott, recently ordained priest. We’re very blessed to have been raised by two strong Catholics who instilled within us a beautiful faith that we have all come to know and love deeply.
I graduated from Olmsted Falls High School in 2013 and was very involved with Life Teen here. I graduated from John Carroll University in 2017 with a degree in Theology and Religious Studies. After graduation, I moved to Baltimore and served as the Coordinator of Youth Ministry and Confirmation at St. Ursula Roman Catholic Church.
I am so excited to be back in Cleveland and even more excited to serve the parish and program that inspired my own vocation! Please keep me in your prayers and be assured of mine for you!
Josh Arbogast, Director of Faith Formation
Hello, my name is Josh Arbogast, and I am the Director of Faith Formation here at St. Mary of the Falls. I grew up in Akron, Ohio, and after high school attended Borromeo Seminary where I graduated in 2015. I went on to St. Mary's Seminary and after one semester discerned another path and began working in youth ministry at various parishes throughout the diocese.
I absolutely love ministering here and being a part of this community. St. Mary's is a unique place filled with so many blessings. I currently love to work with the PSR students, the RCIA program, starting our new initiative called Evangelical Catholic, and helping with all things youth ministry. If I can be of any help, or if you would like to just grab a cup of coffee or pray, feel free to call, email, or stop by anytime.
Donna Tomko, PSR/Youth Ministry Coordinator

I am blessed to be a part of the Religious Education department assisting students in the pre-school through high school level. Some of my roles include registering students, teaching and subbing in the PSR classrooms, assisting in the Edge Program, and coordinating Youth Ministry retreats and Life Teen activities. I ask for your prayers as I continue my journey in helping the youth of our parish grow closer to Christ.
